Backflow

On a Monday morning, this customer reported a water loss and a foul smell in his bathroom. Not knowing the cause, they decided to call SERVPRO. Inside the bathtub and shower, there was waste from backflow in the pipes and on the bathroom floor and closet water remaining. We recommended bringing a licensed plumber, but the customer thought it wouldn't happen again. On Wednesday afternoon, he called us because it did happen again, and this time he brought the plumber, who said it was a cracked pipe in the foundation. SERVPRO of Southwest Irving came to prevent further damage, stabilize the environment, extract the remaining water, and document everything for the insurance.
